Our History

As a husband and wife team, Tina and I have several decades of collision, administrative, and customer service experience to benefit Kapa’a Auto Body. We started our careers in different directions, but ultimately, we combined our talents working together as one to manage Kapa’a Auto Body.

Palani started in the automotive industry as a painter helper working with Kenworth trucks and moved onto several other positions such as a First Class paint technician and First Class body and frame technician. Palani manages the team at Kapa’a Auto Body and utilizes his extensive knowledge and experience to guide, mentor and direct the technicians.

Tina has years of experience as an Independent Consultant for herself in assisting physicians in starting up their own practices, providing Best Practice recommendations, creating and implementing procedures and training physicians and staff. Tina utilizes her extensive background experience to enhance the growth and success of Kapa’a Auto Body.

Our second son, Justin started as a part time detail specialist while attending high school and once he graduated Justin worked under me as a full time detailing specialist and painter helper. Justin has the gift and passion for art and color. Justin is now our First Class Head Painter. Our last son, Micah is also working with us a detailing specialist and on weekends learning how to set up and measure vehicles on the frame machine.

Our experiences together helps us manage Kapa’a Auto Body on a day-to-day basis as one strong auto body repair team with the support of solid substantial owners backing us. Serving our customers at Kapa’a Auto Body is a huge passion of ours.

Community Involvement

Kapa’a Auto Body’s team enjoys giving back to our community by being a positive mentor and role model.

Through our community involvement, we have had the pleasure of taking different sport teams to the mainland for championship games. It is truly a great experience witnessing teenagers experience snow for the first time as well as the culture of the mainland.

We also are a DONATION center for the Dela Cruz Quintuplets and will continue to remain a supportive business for the Dela Cruz family.

Environmental Friendly Shop

Kapa’a Auto Body technicians converted using solvent based vehicle paint to environmental friendly waterborne paint. This environmental friendly waterborne paint provides a safer workplace for our employees and the environment.

Photo voltaic installed at Kapa’a Auto Body to help provide solar electricity.
